PRINCE FREDERICK EAGLES "ELITE"
TRUE - SELECT LEVEL YOUTH FOOTBALL!
The Prince Frederick Eagles are PROUD to announce that we are the first youth football program in Calvert County
to offer SELECT football for the ELITE youth football player.
These select teams will compete in the Greater Metropolitan Youth Football League (GMFYL) in conjunction with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and USA Football. All Administrators, Coaches and Players must obtain AAU membership for participation
and all coaches are required to be USA Football Certified.
The Eagles will field Elite teams at ages 8u - 10u - 12u - 14u
Teams will compete in an "age only" structured format providing a platform for participants to play the proper position for their body size, ensuring their success as they move onto high school and beyond.
The GMYFL is comprised of over 24 teams from within the metropolitan area including representation from
St. Mary's County, Prince Georges County, Montgomery County, Baltimore, Northern Virginia, and Washington DC.
Tryouts for the Eagles Elite will begin in July for highly competitive level of football featuring an 8 game regular season with 4 home games (played at Hallowing Point Park) and 4 away games. (most away games will be played within a 1 hour drive from Calvert County)
Post season play will be held at some of the most prestigious football stadiums in Maryland.
The top 6 teams in each division will qualify for the playoffs to compete for the GMYFL Championship.
Division champions are eligible to compete in Regional Playoffs as well as the AAU National Championships to be held in Orlando, Florida.
